content with my life. content with my frustrations. content with me.
her voice has the power to calm me down and remember "everything is going to be alright." usually only listen to her when i am alone... cleaning the house, driving around town, or sitting in front of the computer on a rainy sunday typing up lesson plans for the next week.
her first cd, come away with me, came out in 2002 when i was a sophomore in high school. i've loved her ever since. have all of her music since then and like it all. but nothing compares to that first cd.
she's magnificent.

i feel the same way about her. when i taught sixth grade, i had her playing on a constant loop, for my samity's sake :) i remember hearing my students hum her songs in the hall or while they were working quietly! haha! she can do no wrong.
