the moment our salads are placed on the table i instinctively devour the ice cold cucumbers. meanwhile bobby promptly forks his and slides them onto my dish. never have i asked questions about this dining ritual and to this day i am not sure if he doesn't like them or simply knows how much i do. i am scared to mess with a good thing...the kitchn has a nice collection of cucumber inspired recipes here. after i pick up a few i plan to whip up the sour cream cucumber salad with mustard seeds while sipping a cucumber-rosemary gin & tonic (pictured).
