marathon virgin: week five

this week’s training mileage total: 10 miles (should've been 21 - but i missed my long run for a fun river trip)
longest run: 5.6 miles
cross training: floating the comal river with friends
favorite song on my run playlist: a milli by lil wayne always pumps me up

15 weeks until race day! here is my training schedule for the week:
Monday: yoga missed this too =(
Tuesday: 25 minutes + strength training
Wednesday: 60 minutes (strides - short, fast runs of between 50 and 200 metres) again
Thursday: 30 minutes + strength training
Friday: rest
Saturday: 11 miles
Sunday: recovery run of 30 minutes at Tread on the Katy Trail with lululemon athletica NorthPark
