winter break

it has been a wonderful winter break from school. i have loved spending time at home, relaxing with the family. this precious time with isla has been heavenly. she is enjoying being at home as well.

 

we baked and decorated sugar cookies. 

we had brunch at uncle bj & aunt tanya's house. 

we had chrismas eve dinner at aunt callie's house. isla loved playing with her cousin, archer. 

santa claus was very good to isla this year.

we are currently in the second half of the break. i think the house is starting to wake up. i can hear coughing and a bit of movement. i've already been up for two hours working on a bit of schoolwork. bobby took off work the rest of the week, so i really want to be present and enjoy the family time we are lucky enough to enjoy.

today we plan to take isla to her very first movie. wish us luck!
