we've been busy! how about you?
a new school year has kept this mama occupied. and it finally feels like we are getting into the swing of things. a lovely little holiday tomorrow has allowed me to wait up for my husband to get home so we can watch the new episode of the walking dead.
here are a few pictures and updates on this little family of ours.
isla got her very first hair cut from katelin. and i have to say it was a great experience. i really didn't know how isla would react. but, katelin is such a pro and made quick work of de-mulleting my baby girl. she was very careful not to cut too much and keeping it from looking like she had had her hair cut at all.
yes, i saved a lock of hair for her baby book. duh.
we celebrated our third anniversary by putting isla to bed and eating burgers on the couch.
can you say - perfect?!?!
she still eats with her fingers 90% of the time.
but, she is starting to get the hang of the spoon.
and by get the hang of it - i mean - taking 45 minutes to eat one bowl of applesauce.

i love watching her become more independent with each trip to the neighborhood park.
and... babies do not care about pictures. all they care about is not losing their belly buttons.
