day 22: what's in your purse?

i am a girl. i carry a lot of stuff. just to have it. the day after walking down greenville avenue following the st. patrick's day parade my shoulders ached from the weight of my bag. do i make it lighter? no. because i just might need a felt tip pen one day.

call me prepared.

1. severe thunderstorms required me to wear rain boots to school. i had every intention of changing into these sandals once i got there. it never happened.
2. keys to my classroom - lost at least once a week
3. random notebook for jotings
4. sunnies, you never know when the sun will come out in texas
5. nivea chapsticks are the best. that is why i need two.
6. only a teacher would have three pens and a highlighter stowed away
7. you just never know when you'll need a flashlight
8. flip video camera for recording those silly moments
9. my fiance is a cop. he made me. it's pepper spray.
