day 19: something you miss

i remember checking books out from the church library when i was very small. those books had a card like this one inside the cover. i loved writing my name on those cards. it was mesmerizing to see the names of the people before you who had read that same book. i had a public library card that could be scanned, and you better believe i used it. i brought home a bag of books after each visit.

i hope my children enjoy books as much as i do.
