marathon virgin: week twelve



this week’s training mileage total: 28
longest run: 15 miles (longest run, ever!)
cross training: yoga
favorite thought while running: "i'm running 15 miles today... i get to eat whatever i want later!"

8 weeks until race day! here is my training schedule for the week:
Monday: 30 minute treadmill run + weights
Tuesday: 40 minute run with an early bird run group
Wednesday: 80 minute "progression" run... when i find out what that is i will let you know
Thursday: rest
Friday: 40 minutes run with same run group
Saturday: 16 mile long run
Sunday: easy 40 minute recovery run
note: missed weeks ten & eleven blogs... same ol same ol - running running running. you didn't miss much.
