marathon virgin: week one

this week’s training mileage total: 12 miles (spent five days in key west on vacation)
longest run: 9 miles with an average pace of 11:30
cross training: swimming, jet skiing, parasailing, and frolicking around the florida keys with a boy =)
favorite song on my run playlist: britney spears' "freakshow" (corny, i know... i can't help but love her!)

18 weeks until race day! here is my training schedule for the week:
(our training schedule is by minutes this season - wonder how i will like it)
Monday: 50 minutes
Tuesday: 25 minutes + yoga
Wednesday: 50 minutes
Thursday: 25 minutes + bikram yoga
Friday: rest
Saturday: 6 miles + yoga @ salutation nation!
Sunday: my cross training day - 25 minutes of swimming,
