get off your butt and on with your training

only two more weeks of training for my first ever half marathon! i am thrilled. don't get me wrong... i loved every second of it. well, maybe not the time i gave up on a six mile run and my pace group was waiting for me at the end. it was nice of them, but i felt so bad. or the time i first hurt my foot after running thirteen miles because it lead to achilles tendonitis.

but, i did love it! and i will be sad when it's over. but, i will have accomplished something great.

i checked this book out and am flying through it. i will finish it before i run the half. it is seriously informative... and seriously hilarious!

"you'll realize that the only real limitation you ever had was your inability to see what you were actually capable of all along."

"there aren't many things in this life you can't do. there are a hell of a lot of things you don't want to do, and that's fine; but never confuse the two words."

i am no kara goucher from the boston in the picture above. but, everyone needs motivation, right?

Such a sign that you commented on my blog about Norah Jones, because when I find music that I love, it makes me want to run! And right here, you are blogging about running!! I was just talking to my friend about needing a goal to run a 1/2 marathon this spring. You have further inspired me!

Marli, followed your link from the lululemon blog post "the run date" and landed here. This is so exciting, I am at the beginning of my journey focusing on 5k, 8k, and 10k and getting my times down. When and where is your race? You wouldn't happen to live in PA would you?
