second hill training of my half marathon training under my belt. there was never a time tonight where i felt like giving up. we stayed in a tight group the entire time and that really helped me stay strong. am thoroughly enjoying this training. talking to a new friend that i've made as a result of doing this tonight after we finished our run. we were laughing and joking about how much our respective lives revolve around this training that we're doing. we both feel like such lame asses on friday nights because we don't drink or stay out past nine o'clock... and we're both completely okay with it.
if you enjoy doing something enough... just do it. you have only yourself to please. so, do what makes you happy.
this is the best i've felt in a long time. slowly coming down from the runner's high. but, still feeling better than if i had spent the evening on the couch.

Congrats on your training! Hills are the worst. I always picture myself holding onto a rope and pulling myself up the hill. When's your race?
a rope! that's a great idea. i'll have to try that next time.
november first is the race. so i've got a couple months left of training.
have you ever done a half? or full? would love to hear any tips you have to offer.
